Failing eyesight has reduced significantly my ability to undertake research and I have had to prioritise the projects and, unfortunately, cannot predict when the outcome of my research into any of them will be posted on this site.

Major projects for 2025-26
  • "Logue's" Brewery, Kent Town
  • A scrapbook to celebrate the history of the Kent Town Hotel (an ebook)
  • Mapping the historic pubs of Adelaide

    • Minor projects
  • The Orwell Pub Project - revived
  • Towards a history of lager in South Australia
  • Self-guided 'Historic Pub-crawls' and 'Pub-trails' as opportunities arise

    • Also to maintain and add to the following projects:
  • The history of the Kent Town Hotel project
  • the Women in Pubs project

    • ...and to complete, as time (and eyesight) permits:
  • The lost pubs of Mitcham (an ebook)
  • The Hindmarsh and Brompton Historic Pub-crawls
    • plus a continuing interest in supporting historic research into pubs, pub culture and brewing especially in South Australia.
